Interior architecture events 2026 not to be missed
From Milan to Geneva, here are the events that will shape tomorrow's trends. My personal calendar for staying at the forefront of creation.

Creative research, a pillar of my profession
There is one thing I learned very early in my career: interior architecture is a living art. Trends evolve, materials reinvent themselves, lifestyles transform. To stand still is to fade.
That is why I devote several weeks each year to exploring trade fairs, exhibitions, and artisan workshops. Not to blindly follow fashions, but to nourish my eye, refine my sensibility, and discover craftsmanship that will enrich your projects.
The international events
Salone del Mobile, Milan (April 2026) The world's largest design fair. Every year, Milan becomes the centre of gravity of international creation. It is there that I discover new publisher collections, forge contacts with Italian craftsmen, and immerse myself in the trends that, within a few months, will find their way into Geneva interiors.
Not to be missed this year: The immersive installations of Fuorisalone, in the Brera district. Art and design meet there in masterful fashion.
Maison & Objet, Paris (January and September) Twice a year, Paris hosts this essential decoration and design fair. More accessible than Milan, it offers a complete panorama of current trends, from tableware to lighting to furniture.
It is also an opportunity to discover young creators, emerging talents who challenge conventions. Some of my finest discoveries have come from there.
IMM Cologne (January 2026) The German furniture fair. More technical, more innovation-oriented, it is the ideal place to discover new developments in design and manufacturing. German rigour in service of creativity.
Swiss events
Habitat Jardin, Lausanne (March 2026) The French-speaking Swiss home show. Less prestigious than its international counterparts, but so relevant for us, professionals in the region. You find local craftsmen, solutions adapted to our climate, partners who understand our specificities.
Design Days, Geneva (May 2026) Our local rendezvous. Galleries, showrooms, and workshops open their doors to showcase design in all its forms. It is the perfect opportunity to forge connections with Geneva's creative scene.
Exhibitions not to be missed
Mudac, Lausanne The Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts offers fascinating thematic exhibitions. This year, their programme around sustainable housing promises stimulating reflections.
Museum of Art and History, Geneva The permanent decorative arts collections are an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Observing yesterday's craftsmanship to enrich today's creations.
Why attend these events?
Beyond professional research, these gatherings are moments of sharing. You meet colleagues, exchange ideas, nourish each other. Interior architecture is not a solitary profession - at least, not when practised with passion.
And then there is the simple pleasure of discovery. Of encountering a material you have never touched, a light fixture that creates an unprecedented atmosphere, an artisan technique that opens new possibilities.
